2011 was a milestone year for us here at the award
winning Solid Gold Country Legendsshow as it reached its 10
year anniversary providing thousands of fans across the UK, Europe
and America with the very best that Country Music has to offer.
We are not stopping though, we are now busy working to make the next
10 years just as
memorable, with the promise of an exciting new show
for 2012 that includes new songs, more fun and an abundance of
rhinestones on the costumes!.
Whilst not giving too much away, we can announce that some new songs
will be added with the vocals being provided by our new cast member,
singer-songwriter and musician, Melanie Greggain (see our
Latest News page for more about Melanie).
The 2012 show will bring to the stage two hours of the greatest
country music from across the world spanning many years, from the
classics of Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson and Tammy
Wynette to the present day stars including Garth Brooks, Shania
Twain and Lady Antebellum to name a few. Songs featured in the
exciting new show include some of our fans favorites: Johnny Cash -
Folsom Prison Blues, Dolly Parton - Jolene and Kenny Rogers -
Lucille all of which achieved Gold Disk status and beyond, so as the
title suggests Solid Gold Country Legends recreates some of the very
finest Country Music ever produced.
Leading the vocals on the show are British Country stars Jeanne
Jordan and B.J. Thomas, with the Outlaw Country Band, headed
up by son Luke Thomas, these guys are some of the finest live
country musicians you will hear.
So come join us, on this hand-clapping, foot-stomping journey into
the best of country music kicking up the dust in a theatre near you!
